What your day would be like

You will be accountable for commercializing and delivering IATA’s consulting services for the Safety & Flight Operations practice in Asia Pacific & North Asia. Responsibilities will include:

1. Perform business development initiatives in close collaboration with the Principal Safety Flight Operations, Civil Aviation and ATM Consulting:

•  Nurture relationships with key clients
•  Identify and qualify of business leads
•  Prepare technical and commercial proposals
•  Participate in commercial meetings
•  Contribute to the design and roll-out of new consulting products and services as required

2. Manage safety and flight operations consulting projects:

•  Prepare, and maintain adherence to the budget and timeframe
•  Manage internal and external Consultants and Subject Matter Experts assigned to the project
•  Provide quality assurance on the delivery and quality control on the deliverables
•  Manage the client relationship and satisfaction in the context of the project, including post-project feedback collection
•  Ensure the issuance of IATA invoices at client-agreed milestones

3. Deliver safety and flight operations consulting projects:

•  Contribute to project activities and deliverables as required
•  Participate and present deliverables in client meetings as required

Note: The incumbent is expected to spend at least 60% of his / her time on project delivery.

We would love to hear from you if

• You possess a master’s degree in engineering or a related field focused on Infrastructure or Transportation.
• You have at least 6 years of experience in a consulting environment, with a strong emphasis on your role as a project manager.
• You have participated in infrastructure and transportation consulting projects, ideally with a background in aviation-related initiatives.
• You demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of producing comprehensive reports in English and effectively presenting findings to senior executive management.
